5.4. Add shapes to PDF files

PDF Expert 7 lets you create diagrams and schemes by using different shapes like arrows, circles, and rectangles. You can easily combine different shapes to annotate your document more effectively.

How to add shapes to a PDF file:

  1. Open a document.
  2. Tap Annotate on the toolbar.
  3. Select Shapes. Here, you can choose a shape, its border color and thickness.
  4. To adjust the fill color and opacity, tap Additional Settings.
  5. Tap where you want to insert a shape.
  6. You can tap and hold the shape to move it.
  7. To resize or rotate the shape, just drag its corners.

Note: To undo the changes, tap on the toolbar. If you need to redo your edits, tap and hold and select Redo.

If you frequently use a particular shape, e.g. the red arrow, you can add it to the Favorites to work even faster. Learn how to create your own toolbar in PDF Expert 7.

How to edit or delete a shape:

  1. Tap the shape you want to change.
  2. To edit the shape, select Properties in a pop-up menu.
  3. To remove a shape, tap Delete.
