10.2. Sync PDF files via iCloud Drive

PDF Expert 7 allows you to store your files in iCloud Drive and keep them up to date across all your devices.

How to upload files to iCloud

  1. Open PDF Expert 7.
  2. Tap Select  at the top right.
  3. Select the files or folders you wish to sync with iCloud.
  4. Tap Move or Copy and select PDF Expert – iCloud.

You can also drag & drop the desired files to the PDF Expert – iCloud tab on your iPad or to the corresponding folder on your iPhone.

If the files are uploaded to iCloud successfully, they will be available in the 'PDF Expert - iCloud' tab in PDF Expert 7 or our Documents app on another iOS device provided the second device is connected to the same iCloud account. You can also get access to PDF Expert 7 iCloud files in other apps which support iCloud Drive. For this, open the iCloud Drive section in the needed app and select the PDF Expert 7 folder.

In PDF Expert 7, you can access iCloud files both in PDF Expert – iCloud and Files sections:

  • PDF Expert – iCloud is PDF Expert's iCloud container. It allows you to sync files from the app to iCloud and access them in the iCloud folder in PDF Expert or the Documents app on another iOS device. You can also see the files from this folder on your Mac if you're signed into the same Apple ID on both devices. Just open Finder > iCloud Drive > PDF Expert on your Mac.

  • Files represents iCloud Drive itself. You can access all other folders from your iCloud Drive in this section.

Note: The folder with files from PDF Expert in Finder can be called either PDF Expert or Documents since our apps use a single iCloud container.
