7.4. How Spark Handles Your Data And How to Remove Your Data From Spark

We have updated our Privacy Policy that explains exactly how your data is being used. We only gather information that is needed to provide you with the best email experience. Your data is safe. Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • request a copy of all the data associated with the specific email account in Spark;
  • request restriction of access to all the data associated with the specific email account in Spark;
  • request the deletion of all the data associated with your specific email account in Spark;

This is the data we collect and store until you request a deletion:

Type of information Length of storage
Email address, email content for Spark Services, mail server credentials, APNS device token, App token assigned by us, device info 3 months after deletion of your email account from Spark on all devices
Recent messages from your inbox Deleted after 4 hours
Emails pending in the "send later" feature, IP addresses Deleted once the message is sent

In order to remove your data from Spark, please do the following:

  1. Open Spark > Settings;
  2. Tap on your Spark account (the first line within the Settings menu) > Remove My Data from Spark.
