7.11. Can I Change Advanced Settings For a Custom Account?

There is no option in Spark to change the advanced settings for an email account you added manually. These settings include server, ports, and type of protection. You or your network administrator can change them on the web page of your email server.

If the advanced settings have changed and you are experiencing issues with this account in Spark, please follow these steps:

  1. Remove your account from Spark. Tap  at the top left. Go to Settings > Mail Accounts. Choose the account you want to delete, scroll to the bottom and tap Remove Account.
  2. Add this account again with the new settings. Open Settings > Mail Accounts > Add Account > Set Up Account Manually. Enter your email and password and choose Open Advanced Settings. Fill out the new settings here and tap Log In.
