7.3. Can I Change My Email For Sync?

When you log into Spark on a new device with your email for sync, the app syncs all your email accounts and preferences (swipes, signature, templates, etc.). The email for sync is the email address you used to log into Spark for the first time. Learn more about the sync option in Spark.

To check your email for sync, tap  at the top left and go to Settings. The email address you see at the top is your email for sync.

Currently, there is no option to change your email for sync in Spark. If you want to use another email address to sync your preferences, please log out of the current account and log into the new one.

Note: Logging out from Spark won’t delete your emails as they are saved on the email server. You can always add your account again and continue working with your emails.

To sign out of your email for sync, go to Settings > [your email address] > Log Out. If you want to delete data about your accounts and preferences before logging out, choose Remove My Data From Spark. It will remove all saved sync settings. Please check this article for more details.

Then, log into the email address you want to be your email for sync. Check this article for a detailed guide on how to connect your email account to Spark.

The account you logged into becomes your email for sync. Now, you can add other email accounts to Spark and adjust your preferences. Spark will sync them when you sign into this account on a new device.

Note: You can use different emails for sync on different devices. For example, you can log into your work email on your office computer while using your personal email to sync preferences across your own devices.
