6.8. Can I Change Advanced Settings For a Custom Account?

There is no option in Spark to change the advanced settings for an email account you added manually. These settings include server, ports, and type of protection. You or your network administrator can change them on the web page of your email server.

If the advanced settings have changed and you are experiencing issues with this account in Spark, please follow these steps:

  1. Remove your account from Spark. Click Spark at the top left of your screen and choose Accounts. Select the needed account and click on the minus sign at the bottom.
  2. Add this account again with the new settings. Click Spark > Add Account > Set Up Account Manually > Additional Settings. Fill out the new settings here and click Add.
